“Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness” Hebrews 3:7-8, ESV.
There are rich blessings that you only get to experience when you completely surrender to the God. If you are on the fence, you won’t experience the full life He has for you. It’s not until you completely surrender everything to Him that He comes and fills your life completely. More of Him will always cost all of you.
If you’re looking around at others who are receiving from the Lord, look closer, and you will see a totally surrendered life. There’s never a reason to envy another believer because you too have the power to surrender. It comes down to a decision you have to make. You can either remain where you are or completely dive into things of God with reckless abandonment. You can either stay on the fence, or you can take the leap of faith and see how God causes you to soar.
No more games. “No more!” God says, “Now is the time of salvation. Do not harden your hearts. Now is the day to give Me all of you and receive all of Me. Now is the time when you must choose who you will serve. If I am God, serve Me.”
Prayer: Father God, I give my life to you. My past, my present and my future. My heart, my mind, and my soul. I give you everything I have, and I receive all of you. All of your love, all of your grace, and all of your Spirit in me. Completely pour yourself into me, Lord, I come to you empty, and I’m determined to leave full. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
(Read Matthew 16:24-25)
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” Ephesians 2:10, ESV.
Sometimes God is more serious about our destiny than we are. Just as a surgeon will remove anything that is harmful to our bodies, God will remove anything that is harmful to our destiny. He knows exactly what He is doing in our lives and it is up to us to trust Him. You may not understand why but trust Him anyway. He has your destiny in mind.
It’s time you become just as serious about your destiny as God is. Let go of whatever He is telling you to let go of. See God’s hand and His love for you even when He’s making necessary changes and adjustments in your life.
He has your destiny in mind.
Prayer: Father God, thank you for your great love and concern for me. Help me to be just as serious about my destiny as you are. Help me to trust you. Help me to lay my life down for you so that you can do with it what you will. I ask that you make whatever adjustments you need to make. I know you have my destiny in mind. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” Luke 2:52
When we are facing a crisis in our lives, we often feel as though we need more favor. When every door is being slammed in our face, it can seem like God has gone on vacation and His favor has run out. Your back may be against the wall and time is running out. You may be wondering, “Lord, where’s your favor in my life?!”
The favor of the Lord is what causes someone to do for you what they wouldn’t normally do for anyone else. It’s what causes people who don’t like you to bless you anyway. It causes you to stand out from the rest, to win in life and to be successful. The world calls it “Luck”, but in the Kingdom of God, it’s called “Favor”. However, there’s a key to walking in divine favor. The key is growing in wisdom. The two are directly proportional. The more you grow in wisdom, the more you will see an increase in favor.
As a wife, I need constant favor with my husband, not so that I can get my way, but so that our marriage can be all that God designed it to be. So in prayer I ask God to increase me in wisdom as a wife. As a mother, I need favor with my children so they will honor and obey me, so I ask God to make me a wise mom. As a leader, I need favor with those who follow this ministry, so I ask God to increase me in wisdom as a leader. If anything is going to function the way God intended it to function, it will be because someone is walking in wisdom.
Wisdom and favor are closely related. So how do we get wisdom? The Bible says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (see Proverbs 9:10).” To fear God is to trust Him by obeying His word. It’s when you realize who’s in supreme authority in your life and you obey Him, knowing that He loves you. We can’t grow in wisdom by simply reading the Bible alone. We grow by applying its principles to our lives. The more you walk in God’s wisdom, the more favor you will see.
Prayer: Father God, yes, I hear you so clearly. I thought I needed favor, but now I see I need your wisdom more than anything. Help me to apply your wisdom to my life. I know you love me and you only desire the best for me. I know you care about everything I’m facing, but you need me to cooperate with you. Help me Lord. I receive your wisdom in every area of my life and I thank you that I walk in your favor. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” John 14:12
No weakness, set back, or negative words spoken over you are strong enough to stop God’s great and preordained plans for your life. When He called you, He already knew every mistake you were going to make. He already factored it in. He knew every giant you would have to face. Before you were formed in your mother’s womb He knew you and He has chosen you for such a time as this. There is a reason you survived when others around you didn’t. There is a reason you are still alive and still standing. You are here for a divine purpose.
Receive in your heart God’s great plans for your life. Receive His great grace to do what He’s called you to do. Even if you can’t wrap your mind around it, receive it anyway. Just know that He is preparing you for greater. Know that He has equipped you with all that you need in Christ. Greater levels of faith are awaiting on you. Greater operations in the gifts of the Spirit are awaiting you. Greater manifestations of healing and power, greater knowledge and awareness of who He is, and a greater and deeper walk with Him will be yours.
God has greater in mind for you!
Prayer: Father, You are so great and awesome. I put my trust in You. Whatever you want to do, I yield to you. Take me higher than I’ve ever gone before. When life becomes challenging for me, help me remember that the Greater One lives within me. You’ve called me to do great things, and I accept it now. Be glorified in me Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
(Read Jeremiah 1:5; Daniel 11:32)
“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work” 2 Corinthians 9:8, Berean Study Bible.
“My grace is abounding toward you, My precious daughter. You have all sufficiency in all things. You will abound toward every good work. It is a good work to be a wife, a mother, a sister and a friend. It is a good work to be a servant in My kingdom and a laborer in My vineyard. My grace will continue to abound and abound and abound toward you so that you can continue to abound and abound and abound toward the work I’ve given you. I see your need and My grace will meet everyone of your needs. Keep your heart fixed on Me and you will see grace poured out upon you right when you need it. You will look up and say, ‘Praise the Lord! God is gracing me! He must want me to continue on!’ And I say to you, yes, I do! And yes, you will!”
(Scripture references: 2 Corinthians 9:11; 1 Peter 4:10; 1 Corinthians 15:58)
“Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.” Psalms 36:5
“Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?” Proverbs 20:6
“My chosen daughter, I am faithful and I have placed within you a spirit of faithfulness, to where you won’t leave or abandon Me even if you tried. You won’t leave or abandon what I have given you because you have My spirit of faithfulness within you. I’ve made you trustworthy, as I the LORD your God am trustworthy. I’ve made you faithful, as I the LORD your God am faithful. It is a work of My Spirit of grace that took your unrighteousness, your unfaithfulness and all of your deceit and made you like Me, Faithful and True. I’ve transformed your nature and your character and now you look like Me, and now you can be trusted. Before, no one could trust you. Nor could you trust yourself. Your life was void of trust until you received of My Spirit and allowed Me entrance into the deeper places of your heart. Look and behold a person who is faithful who wasn’t faithful. Behold a person who is true who wasn’t true. This divine work in you has been your heart’s desire and is the secret prayers of those who have loved you. They’ve cried out to Me, LORD make her faithful and true. I am answering their prayers for you, and this will bring great healing to the relationships that were destroyed by your unfaithfulness and dishonesty. You will see great healing. Says the LORD.”
(Read Philippians 2:13 13; Psalms 31:23; Proverbs 14:5; 1 Corinthians 4:2; Revelation 19:11; Revelation 17:14)
“Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalms 103:1-5
Has God ever forgiven you? Has He ever healed you? Has He redeemed your life from destruction? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then sister, you are blessed! There are people in the world who long to be forgiven, who would give anything to experience healing, restoration, and the redemptive power of God. However, you have experienced these things, and you are blessed!
To be blessed means that you are happy, fortunate, admirable and enviable. It means people look upon you and say, “God is good to her!”
Yet, sometimes we forget just how good He has been and how blessed we are. We think about everything that’s not going right, and what God hasn’t manifested yet in our lives. But the Holy Spirit will always lead us to think on God’s goodness. Why? Because He knows if we continue to think on the goodness of God, joy will rise in our hearts and we will be strengthened.
Prayer: Father, you have been so good to me and I thank you. You have forgiven me, healed me, and redeemed me by the blood of Jesus. Thank you Lord for everything you’ve done and continue to do in my life. Help me not to forget all that you’ve done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
