God is a finisher, and so are you!

“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God” Acts 20:24

If we are to be imitators of God, He always finishes what He starts. On the seventh day, He finished His work of creation and rested. Jesus finished His work on the cross. Now, it’s up to us to finish the race set before us by God’s grace. Feel Him propelling you forward. Hear His reassuring voice saying, “I’m with you. Keep your eyes on Me.”

In the past, you may have quit everything you started. But that changes right now, today. Declare that you are a finisher. You are made in God’s image and His likeness. You possess His divine attributes and characteristics, and one of those attributes of our Father is that He is a finisher. So are you.

Speak this by faith today: “I am made in the image of God, and if He is a finisher, I am a finisher too! I will finish what God has instructed me to do. I will finish my course with joy! I fix my eyes on the Lord, and I will not give up. The Lord is with me to help me finish!”
